I am creating these "Yoga Extras" blog posts for those of you resonating with the public yoga classes & Yoga Teacher Trainings I am leading. Inside of these blog posts you will find extra resources that support our weekly class theme. The weekly classes I guide are themed according to the season & collective energetic "weather"–This is of course influenced by many things; for instance, not only national and global events but how masses of people are feeling about and reacting to those events. It is also influenced by space weather (see spaceweather.com) & the current movement/placement of celestial bodies ie: the sun, moon, planets, nodes, stars, etc. You can find me teaching currently at Black Swan Yoga (North-Anderson) in Austin, TX.   1. Imagine a character who is facing a significant crisis in their life. Write a scene where they confront this challenge and experience a moment of realization about the need to let go of old beliefs or ways of being. How does this realization shape their actions and decisions moving forward?

Write a personal essay exploring how that experience served as a catalyst for spiritual growth and inner transformation.   7. Imagine a dialogue between two characters—one who is resistant to change and struggles to let go of old ways of thinking, and another who embraces challenges as opportunities for growth. Write a conversation where these characters discuss their differing perspectives on facing adversity and how it shapes their lives.

  9. Write a series of journal prompts designed to help readers explore the qualities they need to cultivate in order to find peace of mind during difficult times. How can asking questions about personal growth and self-discovery help individuals navigate crises and emerge stronger on the other side?
